Care Guide

Avoid substances that aren’t PH-neutral, such as perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hairspray.

Avoid wearing your jewelry in seawater, chlorinated water, and humid air.

Remove your jewelry before swimming, exercising, bathing, and bedtime.

Gently clean with a soft cloth to remove excess oil and makeup from your skin.

Store your jewelry in its protective pouch or jewelry box when not being worn to avoid tangling, scratching, and oxidation - especially when traveling.

14k GOLD FILL

Not to be confused with gold-plated metals, 14K Gold-Fill has a brass base with a thick layer of 14K gold heat and pressure bonded to the core. This gold layer can be up to 100 times thicker than gold-plated.

Gold-Fill metals last considerably longer than plated metals and is the next best thing to solid gold. This means you can have long-lasting pieces wihtout breaking the bank!

CARE:

For heavily soiled pieces, soak in 1 cup of warm water + 2 drops of dish soap for 10 minutes. Use a soft brisled tooth brush to get into hard spots. Rinse with warm water, and pat dry.

You may also use a polishing cloth (with compound for a shinier polish) and buff to a high shine.

STERLING SILVER

A highly durable and precious metal, Sterling Silver is an alloy of 92.5% pure or fine silver, and 7.5% copper.

For tarnished chain, it is best to use a "silver dip" jewelry cleaning solution.

FRESHWATER PEARLS

I never use imitation pearls in my jewelry. Freshwater cultured pearls are genuine pearls that are farmed from freshwater mussels.

CARE:

Store your pearl jewelry separately from other pieces to avoid friction and maintain their luster and shine. It's best to keep your pearls in a soft pouch or jewelry box. Avoid perfumes, lotions, and contact with water if possible and put on your pearl pieces after applying cosmetic products.

To give your pearls an extra good clean, you can mix 1 cup of warm water with a few drops of shampoo (as this is milder than other soaps) and use a microfiber cloth to clean each pearl. Leave your piece to air dry on a soft cloth.
